If you are running Avast Internet Security, you might get a pop-up message from Avast that might prevent Time Doctor from running. The following steps will show you how to exclude TimeDoctor from Avast's blocking features.
2.) In the menu on the left, click on Additional Protection. Select "AutoSandbox" from the sub-menu, then Click the "Settings" button:
3.) At the bottom of the page where it says "Files that will be excluded from automatic sandboxing", there is an option to add an application. Click browse to find the TimeDoctor executable (.exe) file:
Here's the complete path of TimeDoctor in Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10:
For 64-bit operating systems, the program folder is labeled as "Program Files (x86)":
C:\Program Files (x86)\TimeDoctor\TimeDoctor.exe
5.) The complete path of TimeDoctor will be added. You can then click on "Add":
6.) Congratulations! You can now run Time Doctor normally without getting a pop-up from Avast:
