In this article we will walk you through the process of enabling the Quickbooks report export option, so you can quickly and easily export a Quickbooks compatible report from the Time Doctor projects report page.
Please note that this will only work with Desktop version of Quickbooks, since Intuit deprecated the upload of the .iff file and they do not use it in online version.
(Regular users or managers will not be able to integrate individually with Quickbooks. This integration is for company owners and admins only.)
1.) The company owner or admin will need to turn on the integration on the company integrations page. Navigate from main Time Doctor web dashboard by clicking on Settings > Company Settings > Integration Settings, here:
2.) Then scroll down to find the Quickbooks icon and click the ON/OFF button:
3.) On this next page, click the Icon to continue:
4.) Then enter your Quickbooks login details to enable the integration:
5.) Once you click "Ok" you will be brought to a confirmation screen where you will see that your company owner and admins now are integrated. This means they will have the option to export a Quickbooks compatible format on the Reports > Project Reports page, shown here:
