This article will show you how to edit your time manually.
Note: Regular users can only edit their own time. Managers can edit the times of the people they manage as well as their time. Admins and owners can edit everyone’s times.
Editing Tracked Time
In this example, we’ll show you how to change the task or project name if you tracked time for the wrong task or project.
1. Navigate to the Edit Time section in the upper menu and select the time entry that you want to edit.
2. Select the project and task and enter the reason for the edit (optional). Then click the green check to save the changes.
Adding Manual Time
If you need to add a block of time to your timeline, you have two options:
1. Select the time block, modify the start and end times, select a project and task (if applicable), add the reason (optional) and click on the green check to save your changes.
2. If the task is the same as the one above or below the time block, you can simply click on the up or down arrow icon to add the time. This will fill the entire empty block of time.
Note: If you or your users don't see the Edit Time menu item, go to Settings --> Users and enable the "Can Edit Time" option.IMPORTANT: Enabling the Edit time option will automatically enable the Delete screencasts feature for the user. If you don't want to allow users to delete screencasts, keep the edit time option disabled.
