How to Allow Time Doctor Through Your Corporate Firewall

Some organizations have corporate firewalls that can prevent the Time Doctor app from connecting with its servers to sync data. This can be easily fixed by allowing certain URLs through your corporate firewall.

The configuration of the firewalls may vary, so we strongly suggest allowing the system administrator who maintains your firewall to add the following URLs.

For the Interactive App

Here are the URLs that need to be added to your firewall for the interactive version of the desktop app:

For time synchronization we need

  • time.apple.com
  • time.google.com
  • time.cloudflare.com

For desktop updates, screenshots & videos

  • s3.amazonaws.com
  • storage.googleapis.com

To allow our app to communicate with our server

  • td2-desktop-api.timedoctor.com
  • api2.timedoctor.com

Needed for interactive JS part

  • fonts.gstatic.com
  • desktop-v3.staff.com [For desktop application versions earlier than 3.3.11]
  • desktop.timedoctor.com [For desktop application version 3.3.11 and later]

For the Automatic App

Here are the URLs that need to be added to your firewall for the Automatic App version of the desktop app:

For time synchronization we need

  • time.apple.com
  • time.google.com
  • time.windows.com
  • time.cloudflare.com

  • s3.amazonaws.com
