Note: Gusto CSV Export (Payroll) is available in all Time Doctor subscription plans for Interactive & Mixed companies (not available for Automatic companies) and can be accessed when enabled by the Owner, then granted to any role as needed via Company Settings.
TL;DR:
Enable Payroll, switch the payment method to Gusto for the workers to be paid, Export CSV, then upload the CSV in Gusto via Import payroll data.
Export payroll from Time Doctor as a CSV and upload it to Gusto to run payroll in bulk. This process requires Payroll to be enabled and Gusto to be added as a payment method.
Prerequisites

Enable Payroll in Settings → Company Settings → Use payroll.

Ensure Gusto is toggled on under Payment methods on the Payroll page.

Confirm the Owner has granted Payroll access to the appropriate users.
Export payroll for Gusto (Time Doctor)

Open Payroll.

In Payment methods, enable Gusto.

In the Payment method column, set Gusto for each worker to be paid via Gusto.

Click Export CSV.

Download the generated CSV file.
Upload hours & earnings (Gusto)

Sign in to Gusto as an admin.

Start a payroll run and choose Import payroll data to upload a spreadsheet (CSV).

Select the exported CSV from Time Doctor and complete the import.

Review and submit payroll in Gusto.

Why is Payroll unavailable in the account?
