How to Enable Mobile App Access for Users
Note: Mobile App Access is available in all Time Doctor subscription plans and can be configured by Owners and Admins.
TL;DR:
Enable or restrict Mobile App tracking at Settings → Company Settings → Configuration → Allow Tracking in Mobile App. Choose For Everyone, For No One, or For Specific Users. When For Specific Users is selected, manage per‑user access from Settings → Users via the Allow Mobile App Tracking column or use Bulk edit.
Control whether team members can track time with the Time Doctor iOS and Android mobile apps. Apply access globally or per user.
Prerequisites
-
Account role: Owner or Admin.
-
Access to the Company Settings page.
Enable Mobile App Access (Global)
-
Go to Settings → Company Settings.
-
In Configuration, open Allow Tracking in Mobile App.
-
Select one of the following options:
-
For No One – Disable mobile app access for all users.
-
For Specific Users – Limit access to selected users only (configure per‑user access below).
Tip: Switching from For Everyone to For No One immediately blocks mobile tracking across the account.
Manage Access Per User (When using "For Specific Users")
-
Go to Settings → Users.
-
Ensure the Allow Mobile App Tracking column is visible. If hidden, open Column settings (right side) and enable it.
-
Grant or revoke access by toggling On/Off for individual users.
- To update multiple users at once, use Bulk edit → Allow Mobile App Tracking and apply the desired state.
