How to Limit the Automatic App Tracking to Specific Hours

Note: Automatic Tracking Times is available in all Time Doctor plans and can be accessed by Owners and Admins with Automatic Only or Mixed company type.

TL;DR:

Restrict Automatic App tracking to specific hours and days by enabling Automatic Tracking Times in Settings / Company Settings / Configuration. Activities outside the set schedule will not appear in reports. Tracking windows follow the company timezone.

Automatic Tracking Times allows restricting the Automatic App to capture activity only during specified hours and days. This ensures that tracking remains aligned with company policies and avoids unwanted data collection.

Steps to Configure Automatic Tracking Times
  1. Scroll to Automatic Tracking Times.
  2. Select Track during specific times.
  3. Choose the days of the week.
  4. Define the start and end times for each day.
    • To allow tracking the entire day, select Track all the time.
  5. Save changes.
