How to Switch to Monthly Billing in Time Doctor
Note: Billing plan changes are available on all Time Doctor subscription plans and can be accessed by the Owner by default. Access may be granted to selected users via Settings / Company Settings > Billing.

Switch from annual to monthly billing in Settings / Billing. Time Doctor offers both monthly and annual billing. Monthly plans are billed one month in advance, while annual plans are billed annually in advance and include a 16.6% discount for upfront yearly payment.
How billing works

Billing begins after the 14-day free trial ends.

For monthly plans, billing is charged one month in advance.

For annual plans, billing is charged annually in advance.

Annual billing includes a 16.6% discount compared to paying monthly throughout the year.

If switching plans while still on trial, add a valid card under Settings / Billing / Personal info to complete the change. No charge occurs until the trial ends.
Before starting

Confirm access to Settings / Billing.

By default, only the Owner can access billing. To grant access to another user, go to Settings / Company Settings and update the Billing access settings.
Switch from annual to monthly billing

Sign in to the Time Doctor web app.

Go to Settings / Billing.

Open the current subscription plan details.

Select Pay Monthly in the Subscription plan editor.

Choose the preferred monthly plan, if prompted.

Confirm the change.

Review the updated details on the Billing page to confirm that the pending or active plan is correct.
Renewal, cancellation, and payment notes

To avoid unwanted renewal charges, cancel the subscription before the next billing renewal. Refunds are not provided for failure to cancel before billing renewal.

Review invoices anytime from the Invoices tab under Settings / Billing.

If payment is not received, accounts may be locked within 14 days of the invoice issue date.
💡 Troubleshooting tips:
If the expected billing option does not appear, confirm that the correct user has billing access in Settings / Company Settings > Billing.
If switching plans during a free trial, add a valid payment card in Settings / Billing / Personal info first.
If the updated cadence does not look correct, return to Settings / Billing and confirm whether the plan is marked as pending or active.
