If the Time Doctor app becomes unresponsive or the Play button fails to work, the issue may be caused by cache file corruption or resource conflicts with other applications. Resolve these issues using the steps outlined below.

Common Causes

  • Cache File Issues: Corrupted cache files may prevent the app from functioning properly.

  • Application Conflicts: Running the app alongside other resource-intensive programs can lead to freezing or unresponsiveness.

Steps to Resolve the Issue

  1. Close the Time Doctor App

    Fully exit the Time Doctor desktop app. On Windows, do this by ending the task from the Task Manager.

  2. Clear Cache Files

    1. Refer to the article on How to Find Your Time Doctor Cache Files.

    2. Navigate to the Local folder.

    3. Locate the folder named TD. Right-click it and rename it to TD_old.

    4. Restart the Time Doctor app.
