What Are Time Doctor’s Hardware and System Requirements?

 

Note: Hardware and System Requirements apply to all Time Doctor plans and can be accessed by all user roles.

Run Time Doctor on macOS (Catalina+), Windows (10+), or Ubuntu (20.04+ with Xorg). Each requires at least 4 GB RAM, 1 GB free disk space, and a modern CPU.

 

Ensure devices meet the minimum requirements to run Time Doctor effectively.

 
 

macOS Requirements

  • Operating System: macOS Catalina (10.15) or newer
  • Processor: Any supported processor
  • RAM: 4 GB minimum
  • Free Disk Space: 1 GB minimum
 

Windows Requirements

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or higher
  • Processor: 1 GHz or faster, 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64)
  • RAM: 4 GB minimum (64-bit)
  • Free Disk Space: 1 GB minimum
  • Graphics: DirectX 9 device with WDDM 1.0 driver or higher
 

Ubuntu Requirements

  • Operating System: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS or higher
  • Desktop Environment: Compatible with Xorg (X11) only
    • Use the Time Doctor Browser App for Chrome if running Wayland DE
  • Processor: Intel i3/i5/i7 or compatible
  • RAM: 4 GB minimum
  • Free Disk Space: 1 GB minimum
  • Supported DEs: GNOME on Xorg (other Xorg DEs may work but are not officially supported)
 

Browser App Requirement

  • Latest Chrome browser required when using the Time Doctor Browser App.
