If the activity bar in Time Doctor displays 00:00:00 even after more than an hour of work, the desktop app may not be tracking time correctly. This issue has been reported across multiple user environments and is under investigation by the engineering team.

 

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Update the Time Doctor application
    • Download and install the latest version from the Download page.
  2. Delete the TD folder from the Windows Registry
    • Close the Time Doctor app: Go to Application → Exit.
    • Open the Registry Editor:
      • Click the Start menu or Windows icon.
      • Type regedit and press Enter.
  3. Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER → Software
    • Locate the TD folder.
    • Right-click on the TD folder and select Delete.
    • Confirm the deletion if prompted.
    • Restart the Time Doctor application.

Use caution when modifying the Windows Registry.
