Annual Billing for Time Doctor
How Annual Billing Works in Time Doctor
Customers choosing Annual Billing benefit from two months free compared to monthly payments, receiving a 16.6% discount on the total yearly cost. This billing method charges the full annual amount upfront.
Switching from Monthly to Annual Billing
To make the switch:
-
Navigate to Settings / Billing in the Time Doctor web app.
-
Confirm the plan change. The full annual amount will be charged on confirmation.
The billing date resets to the confirmation date.
Prorated Charges for New Users
When users are added mid-year, Time Doctor applies a prorated charge based on the remaining subscription period.
Example:
-
Current plan: Standard Monthly, $100/month for 10 users
-
Switch to Annual Billing: Charged $1,000 instead of $1,200 (two months free)
-
If already paid part of the current month, that amount is subtracted from the $1,000
-
Add 5 users halfway through the year: Charged $250 (half of $500 annual cost for 5 users)
-
Renewal for 15 users: $1,500 (15 users x $10/month x 10 months)
Additional Notes
-
Accounts will be locked if payment is not received within 14 days of the invoice issue date.
-
If switching from a trial, the two-month discount still applies.
-
For accounts with minimum user agreements, annual charges are based on that number—even if fewer users are active.
-
No refunds are provided on annual plans.
-
Users can be deleted and replaced at no additional cost.
