Can the Time Doctor App Slow Down the System?

Some users may be concerned that the Time Doctor app could slow down their systems. However, this is highly unlikely.
 
There are two types of Time Doctor apps: Automatic and Interactive.
  • The Automatic App runs silently without a user interface and consumes fewer resources.
  • The Interactive App includes a user interface, making it slightly more resource-intensive.
Below are details on system resource usage for each version by platform. Actual performance may vary depending on other applications and websites running on the device at the time.

Automatic App:

  • Consumes about 30 MB of RAM
  • Uses approximately 1–2% CPU on a typical workday

Interactive App:

  • Consumes about 155 MB of RAM
  • Uses approximately 2% CPU on a typical workday
 

Windows

Automatic App:

  • Consumes less than 20 MB of RAM
  • Uses about 0–1% CPU

Interactive App:

  • Consumes less than 110 MB of RAM
  • Uses about 0–1% CPU
 

Ubuntu

Automatic App:

  • Consumes less than 20 MB of RAM
  • Uses about 0–1% CPU

Interactive App:
