With Time Doctor, the time tracked to Jira tasks using the Chrome Extension is uploaded to Jira every 5 minutes. If your tracked time isn’t uploaded after 5 minutes have passed, do the following:
- Make sure that your browser has Jira open. Any Jira page in the same Jira domain can be used by the Chrome extension to upload time. It doesn’t have to be the page containing the issue for which the time was tracked.
- Keep at least one JIRA tab open while tracking time.
- If your time hasn’t been uploaded in a long time, restart your browser. Close the browser completely and relaunch, instead of just reopening the tab for the task.
