How to Use the HubSpot Chrome Extension Integration

 

Note: HubSpot Chrome Extension Integration is available in Standard and Premium plans and can be configured by Owners and Admins. Once enabled, it can be accessed and used by all user roles.

 

TL;DR: 
 
Install the Time Doctor Chrome Extension to integrate with HubSpot. Configure in Settings / Integrations, then track time directly from HubSpot Companies, Contacts, Deals, and Tasks. Tracked time syncs with Time Doctor reports.

 

The HubSpot Chrome Extension integration allows tracking time directly inside HubSpot. Start and stop timers from HubSpot entities, and view tracked time inside Time Doctor reports.

Step 1: Install the Time Doctor Chrome Extension
 
 
Step 2: Enable the Integration in Time Doctor
  • Log in to the Time Doctor web app.
  • Locate HubSpot and click Enable.
  • Choose whether to enable for all users or selected users.

Prerequisites:
 
The Interactive app must be used (not the Silent app).
Projects & Tasks must be enabled in Settings / Company Settings.

Step 3: Use the Integration Inside HubSpot
Once enabled, Start/Stop buttons will appear in the following HubSpot areas:
  • Companies



  • Contacts



  • Deals



  • Tasks (within Companies, Contacts, or Deals)



Step 4: View Tracked Time in Reports
